"Repurpose is a group of young emerging artists coming together and collaborating ingenuity. We are resourceful, eclectic, and the next generation designers, videographers, painters, and sculptors. We acknowledge that art is and can be made out of anything. We want to have fun with this show and give the public something that will excite all the senses. It is our intention for the viewer to look up, look down, and all around. To touch, hear, and feel the new space that we will collaboratively create." ~ REPURPOSE - A Collaborative Multi-Media Installation

With the mountains around us dripping with an early season rain storm, the only way to get our minds off the dreary weather was to embrace the darkness, load up the truck head down to South Lake Tahoe to bang our heads with the likes of Valdur, Otis, The Hookers, Huntress and the headliners, 3 Inches Of Blood!

Bjorn Leines has cut his teeth as one of snowboarding's most prominent all-terrain rulers. From his early days as an integral part of the original Forum 8, Bjorn's bagged gnarly AK descents, settled SLC street rails, tackled burly transitions (he almost made the 1998 Nagano Olympic pipe team), and launched lofty booters year after year. Well, this season Bjorn spent his time compiling footage for Volcom's "#IP2" project and today, we're honored to offer you the exclusive edit from Mr. Leines. Watch how it's done, ladies and gentlemen, because not many people can do it for as long as Bjorn at the level he's still currently riding.

Yesterday I decided to hit the snooze button a few too many times, but thankfully Silver Serino kept letting me know what I was missing and that I was "blowing it" not being at Northstar already. Considering I live at lake level, and didn't see any snow on the ground outside, I was a little apprehensive. Boy was I wrong. Yesterday was a Pow day. Not a dust on crust day. We got shacked. A lot. And the fact that is nuking snow at my house right now(at lake level) should inspire you to get out this weekend and shred. We are getting pummeled. Goodbye all of the hate we have for last season(if you can even call it a season), winter has shown up this year. BRING. IT. ON!

POW! Silver tried to jib this tree but the snow was too deep.
