Prepare the wall and dual display bars

Determine wall anchor locations

Temporarily install each dual display bar to the main structure by sliding the post on the back of the bar into the vertical slot located at the top corners of the structure.

Locate the wall stud, near the far end of each dual display bar, that aligns with a pill-shaped anchor hole on each dual display bar.

Mark the pill-shaped hole on the wall. Do this near the end of both dual display bars.

Install display-locking bumpers

Two display-locking bumpers are pre-installed to each dual display bar.

Measure the horizontal distance from the edge of the display to the nearest mounting hole.

Measure the horizontal distance from the edge of the display to the farthest mounting hole.

Locate the correct hole on the dual bar to install the inner display-locking bumper. To do so, measure Distance A from the center of the structure (marked with a triangular notch) to the row of bumper-mounting holes on the dual-display bar. Mark the hole that is just short of Distance A with tape.

Locate the correct hole on the dual bar to install the outer display-locking bumper. To do so, measure Distance B from the center of the structure (marked with a triangular notch) to the row of bumper-mounting holes on the dual-display bar. Mark the hole that is just short of Distance B with tape.

Repeat this process to locate the bumper positions on the other dual display bar.

Distances A and B transferred from the structure’s center to the bumper-mounting holes on each bar.

Remove the dual display bars from the structure by removing the adjustment screws and safety pins and lifting the bars from the structure.

Relocate the bumpers from their pre-installed location to your marked locations.

Install wall anchors

Drill a ¾-inch diameter hole within the pill-shape mark traced to your wall. Drill the hole towards the lower end of the pill shape. Drill through the drywall and the steel wall stud.

Install the SnapToggle wall anchor into the wall and wall stud.

Repeat for the wall anchor location for both dual display bars.

How to install SNAPTOGGLE anchors

1. Hold metal channel flat alongside plastic straps & slide channel through the hole. Minimum clearance behind wall: only 1-7/8” 2. Hold ends of straps together between thumb & forefinger and pull toward you until channel rests behind wall. Ratchet cap along straps with other hand until flange of cap is flush with wall. 3. Place thumb between straps at wall. Push thumb side to side, snapping off straps level with flange of cap. 4. Place item over flange. Insert bolt and tighten until snug against item, then stop. Use machine screw or bolt to match thread in metal channel.

The following video demonstrates a similar toggle-anchor installation using different hardware.

This video nicely demonstrates the steps to deploy a SNAPTOGGLE

Demonstration uses 1/4-20 Elephant anchors. This kit specifies 3/8-16 SNAPTOGGLE anchors and a 3/4-inch hole.

Repeat steps for the second dual display bar.

Determine display height

Place masking tape on the wall at the height where you would like to position the bottom edge of your display.

Measure the distance between the tape and the top edge of the dual display bar.

Measurement X shown between the top of the display bar and the marked bottom edge of the display.

Prepare right-hand display

With your display standing in its packaging or leaning against a wall, use a tape measure to measure up from the bottom edge of the display.

Place masking tape on the back of your display at measurement X. You noted this measurement in the previous step.

Measurement X transferred upward from the bottom of the right-hand display.

Position a right-hand display rail against your display so that the cork liner on the rail hook aligns with measurement X.

Hang right-hand display

Connect the HDMI and power cable to the display.

Carefully lift the display and move close to the structure.

Lower the display onto the right-hand dual display bar so that the hooks do not touch the display-locking bumpers. Rest the cork-lined surface of the hooks directly and firmly on the beam.

Slide the display to the left, towards the center of the structure until the left edge of the display reaches the center of the structure. You will feel the display rails engage with the display-locking bumpers.

Place Anti-Removal Rods

Use a step stool or ladder, and lower the provided wood rod into a hole on the top surface of the dual-display bar, directly behind a display hook location.

If a portion of the dowel is visible above your display, cut the rod to an appropriate length and reinstall the rod.
