Warranty Policy
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
Hecktech, Inc., an Arizona corporation doing business as Heckler ("Heckler") warrants eligible products against covered defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, subject to this policy.
Eligibility
Coverage is limited to the original purchaser of a product purchased directly from Heckler or from an authorized Heckler reseller or distributor. Gray-market and unauthorized-channel purchases are not covered.
Warranty Durations
Structural components, steel, and primary frames — 5 years
Covered for defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use.
Mechanical components, hinges, and adjustable elements — 2 years
Covered for defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, loosening, drift, and performance changes over time are excluded; periodic adjustment and tightening may be normal maintenance.
Powder coat and surface-finish application — 1 year
Covered for manufacturing or application defects such as peeling, flaking, or adhesion failure.
Third-party components
Governed by the original manufacturer's warranty.
Consumables and wear items
Gas springs and similar consumable or wear items are excluded unless Heckler expressly states otherwise.
Finish and Environmental Exclusions
Finish coverage excludes scratches, chips, abrasion, normal wear, UV-related aging or color shift, cleaning damage, and damage caused by harsh cleaners, abrasives, solvents, scouring pads, unapproved chemicals, or repeated sanitization or disinfectants not approved in Heckler care instructions.
Coverage also excludes corrosion or finish deterioration caused by liquids or moisture left on the product; salt air; unusually humid, corrosive, or high-moisture environments; and outdoor or semi-outdoor exposure. These environmental exclusions do not apply where Heckler expressly publishes or rates the specific product for that environment.
Care and Maintenance
Customers must follow product-specific care and maintenance instructions. A failure to follow those instructions excludes coverage only to the extent the failure caused or contributed to the claimed defect or damage; an unrelated minor care violation does not void the entire warranty.
General and Third-Party Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Improper installation, misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorized modification or repair, overloading, or failure to follow product instructions.
- Normal wear and tear or normal maintenance needs.
- Third-party displays, video bars, computers, batteries, cables, accessories, or other products, including their failure, leakage, overheating, excessive weight or load, or incompatibility.
- Site conditions, building structure, unsuitable fasteners, power quality, environmental conditions, or causes outside the Heckler product.
Third-Party Warranty Support
Heckler is the initial point of contact and may troubleshoot or triage an issue involving a third-party component. Heckler may then introduce or refer the customer to the manufacturer's support or warranty process. The manufacturer's warranty terms ultimately govern that component.
Product Appearance and Revisions
Digital representations, photographs, renderings, monitor displays, and samples may differ from finished goods because of screen calibration, lighting, material or textile lots, wood and grain variation, powder-coat variation, and ordinary manufacturing variation. Physical samples are representative, not guarantees of zero perceptible variation. Minor commercially reasonable differences in color, texture, grain, finish, or similar appearance are not defects.
Heckler may make non-material running changes. A warranty replacement may be a current equivalent, successor, or functionally comparable component or product rather than an identical revision, color, or discontinued part.
Claims
A claim must include reasonable proof requested for evaluation, which may include:
- Proof of purchase or order number.
- Product, SKU, and serial number where applicable.
- Photographs or video.
- A description of installation and use.
- Other reasonable diagnostic information or troubleshooting cooperation.
Warranty Period After Service
Repair or replacement does not restart the warranty. Coverage continues for the remainder of the original applicable warranty period unless law requires otherwise.
Physical Returns and Advance Replacements
Claims ordinarily may be evaluated through documentation, photographs, video, and troubleshooting. Heckler may require a physical return only when reasonably necessary in special circumstances. If the physical return is required and the claim is approved as covered, Heckler pays reasonable authorized return shipping.
If Heckler sends an advance replacement and requires the original product or component back, the customer must return the original within 30 days or within another period Heckler specifies. Heckler may invoice the customer for the replacement if the original is not returned on time.
