Side Mount's rear pocket accommodates a PoE Splitter for Power-over-Ethernet deployment. The splitter remains accessible for servicing without disassembling the mount — reducing maintenance time for IT and AV teams.
When Ethernet is not available, Side Mount's rear pocket accommodates portable power banks for wire-free operation. Charged banks swap in and out without tools or disassembly. Interior rear pocket dimensions: 8.4 x 3.75 x 0.94 inches.
Side Mount pairs with the Redpark Gigabit + PoE Adapter for iPad (sold separately) to deliver both power and data over a single Ethernet cable. This MFi-certified adapter provides continuous power and a reliable wired connection supporting speeds up to 225 Mbps.
Heckler makes sturdy, secure iPad mounts. This is my third time purchasing something from them, and I keep coming back because of the quality of the items. They are based in Arizona, which I also appreciate. I had to make a return because I ordered the wrong item, and the return process was quick and easy. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the design of Side Mount for iPad 10.2-inch 7th 8th 9th Generation isn't the easiest to access the charging port. Although they are designed to give you access, it's a tight squeeze, even for smaller hands like mine. Still, the design is sleek and looks amazing! Thank you, Heckler, for offering quality products at reasonable prices!
